Guidelines for E - Poster Presentation

  1. Presenter should be registered member of the IPS and must have registered for the convention during submission of the abstract.
  2. Student is allowed to participate in only one out of the following events: Scientific Paper, E-Poster and Table clinics.
  3. All the poster presentations are categorized as: original research, case report & review.
  4. The presentations should adhere to the central theme of the convention- Concepts in Prosthodontics: Reinvent, Recreate, Rehabilitate.
  5. The structured abstract should be submitted not exceeding 250 words. The abstract headings should be as follows:
    1. For original and secondary researches: Background, methods, Results, Conclusions.
    2. Case reports: Background, Case report, Conclusion.
    3. Reviews: Background, Summary, Conclusion.
  6. Name, last name and title, Institution, City and contact details of authors shall be stated clearly in the abstract.
  7. No tables, charts, or graphs shall be included in the abstract.
  8. The abstract should not have been submitted or accepted at any other state, national or international scientific meeting.
  9. Abstracts of the unfinished researches will not be accepted.
  10. Poster should have a Title that is condensed based on the main aim of the poster
  11. Include all the authors names in the poster. No names of guiding staff or HOD or college name should be mentioned on the poster. Mention of any such names would amount to disqualification of the poster.
  12. Posters should be understandable to the viewer without verbal explanation. It should have a clear structure and layout with minimum amount of text. Presentations should be in. one .ppt slide (Microsoft PowerPoint). The Page setup / size is : 16:9, 1080resolution, Max size 10Mb, JPEG Format. Orientation: Landscape mode. Do not use slide transitions / custom animations / movie or sound links in the ppt.
  13. It should be easily readable from a distance of 5 meters.
  14. All the authors & coauthors should be present at the time of presentation.
  15. Selected authors have to get their Poster Presentations in virus free format and submit it on the day of their presentation as will be specified in the schedule.
  16. Carry the soft copy in CD or Pendrive as a backup in case of technical issues.
  17. Two posters are allowed for each college with intake of up to 6 PG seats per batch and Three posters for more than 6 MDS seats per batch.The maximum number of participants is restricted to 3 delegates (1 author + 2 co-authors for each poster) .
  18. Certificates will be provided to all the authors & co-authors.
  19. All sessions best posters will need to be presented again on 7th April 2019 for the Best Poster Awards.
  20. The decision of the scientific committee is final and binding in all situations.
